Everyone has a story to tell.: BINTAN 17th

Had a mini getaway trip to Bintan last weekend on the 17th - 19th June with my mum, dad, bro & HUBBY!!! Can't believe my parents allowed him to tag along! hehehehe!

Went to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal cause our ferry leaves at 2pm. But there was some delay.

Shall let the pictures do the talking! :D

& we finally arrived at bintan resorts immigration! :D

Our hotel had this shuttle bus to come fetch us from the terminal to their hotel :D

Had this like super cozy corner! Daddy later realized he actually no need to book 2 rooms but instead book 1 & request for an extra mattress to put here & all of us can fit into one room. LOL

So after we settled down, decided to go explore the hotel! Headed for a swim at the pool too!

I love these suntanning chairs that are normally by the side of a pool! Like a relax only ah!

So after swimming, we headed to the beach! It was like a 5 min walk from our hotel only!

It was damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn nice during the evening!!!!! Calm waters, nice sky, cooling breeze, very few people (:

The water is sooooooooooo clear you could even see the ripples of the sand!!!

Then they had these kinda things all over the beach!!!!! I was like wth are these man!

Then hubby told me that the holes are caused by the crab pincers!! omg! so many crabs live there?!?!?! But I wonder how the crabs create the many circular sand around it lo! Yes, those were sand! We pressed it gently and it fell apart!

Seeeeee!!! Tons of holes! Just that these dont have those circular things.

Hehehehe typical tourist picture on a beach! Draw name, date and location on sand, squat beside it, and snap a picture. LOLOL!

But the sand, woahhhhhhhhh it was damn fine and soft!!! I love to like bury my feet in them! One of the few reasons why I simply love the beach (:

So we went back to the hotel & washed up and headed for our dinner!

We had a buffet at some restaurant. Every night is different. That night was seafood night. The next night was steamboat and grill night (:

That marks the end of our Day 1! (:

So the next day, woke up and we headed for our complementary breakfast buffet! I super love love loveeeeeeeeeeee staying at hotels for this reason! When you wake up, you have a buffet of yummylicious breakfast ranging from scrambled eggs to bacon, sausages, porridge, fruits, cereals etc to greet you and make a good kick start for your day! :D

The scrambled eggs the chefs cooked on the spot was simply delishhhhhhhh! Me & hubby couldn't stop going back for more :P it was like juicy & we can choose to add cheese, tomato, onion & mushroom in it (:

So after we had breakfast. off we go on our first activity of the day which is SNORKELING!!!

I've snorkeled in Boracay before so I wasn't veryyyyyyyyyyy scared this time round.

So we got our flippers (idk if this is the term but it's that penguin leg looking thingy for our feets) & life vests and off we go into the middle of the sea on a speedboat!!! I super love the breeze from the speedboat when we go into the middle! Same for boracay (:

** I must warn you though, pictures for this trip can get very unglam! Especially water activities! But I'm there to relax so I dont bother about dressing up and when I go for holidays, comfort is key (:

So here's what happened, upon reaching the venue right, we put on the necessary stuffs, ready to go. But before that, obviously the guide has to go in first to ensure everything is in place. Like if the view there is better, deep waters, etc.

Then he suddenly came up with a jellyfish on a stick!!! So he keeps catching jellyfishes for the next like half an hour?! & it was never ending!

So needless to say, I chickened out. I didn't want to get into the water & get stung by a jellyfish. So the guide say they were unsure why suddenly there are a ton of them!!! The previous day they say morning dont have but afternoon have. Now is morning also have! (our session was at 11am).

So instead of going into the water, i stayed on the boat & help them spot where the jellyfish is.

& instead, what they did was the everybody (only 2 families including us and a couple was on board) take turn to enter the water. All we had to do was float and look around while the guide will drag us around. One by one la. But I still chickened out la. But some people still got stung lo! ): Scary shitz!

This is my brother's turn. So all you had to do was to hold onto the guide & he'll drag you around and keep a lookout for jellyfishes, while you 'snorkel' (which actually is only dipping your face into the water and look what's underneath lol!

So we headed back to shore! Me & my mum look super dry cause we both chickened out & we didn't snorkel! Hubby did though! (: hehehe!

Back to shore, paid for the snorkeling trip! & I think people complained that there were tons of jellyfishes that's why me & my mum wasn't charged any amount (: Only those who snorkeled must pay (: Somemore normally if you never snorkel but just go along in the boat, also must pay leh! Luckily for the jellyfish, we tagged along for free :P

So we decided that since we're already in our wet outfits, may as well go to the pool! & this was another pool from the day 1's one! This was a 'children' family kinda pool! (:

I wanted to take underwater shot with hubby but I do not know how to open my eyes under water & all the shots turned out like this! ): lol! I must learn how then I can take nice under water shots with hubby alr! (:

Bro went to play the ball thingy. You know like as though you're a hamster! hahaha! but he said it was damn hot & stuffy inside!

So after everything, back to our hotel to freshen up and head for lunch! We had our lunch at like 3.30pm sia!

Decided to dine at this restaurant by the seaside (:

Hubby busted his lip while doing some stunt in the pool earlier on lo! Bled like crazy! Swollen somemore! But now okay already la of course! Been a week alr :P
